You heard right, kids! Think you have a character with the brass to take on our very own alien kung-fu master, One-Eyed Jack? Well then, put your pencil where your mouth is and check out this nifty contest brought to you by One-Eyed Jack creator, Jon Castaneda.

Rules:
Submit a pin-up of your character fighting One-Eyed Jack. The winner will get their pin-up printed in One-Eyed Jack #2 plus you'll get to see MY pin-up of Jack kicking your character's ass. The winner will also receive a 6 month subscription to DeviantART, a free CD by All Ties Severed, and One-Eyed Jack #1 and #2. More prizes might be added as the economy allows. About Jack:
He is an extremely skilled fighter and has mastered many kung-fu, tai-chi, and chi-gung forms. He doesn't fight dirty unless the other guy/gal does. He was a champion arena fighter. This means that he beat all kinds of creatures on his home planet through strategy and skill.
Be creative! The fight doesn't have to be an all-out brawl, it can be a chess match if you wish.
The judging will be based on creativity, artistic skill, and originality, so sharpen those pencils, and get to kicking Jack's ass, jackass!

ABOUT PROJECT4 STUDIOS:

We are Project4 Studios, a bunch of guys and gals hailing from El Paso, TX who got together because we love to create comics. We're not pretending to be a publisher. What we are is a collective of self publishers who all self publish under the same banner. And we do it with genuine love, passion and respect for the craft.

The difference is, we won't try to tell you what's hot and what's not, but instead work hard enough to create comics that are worth your time and money. Here, we are learning the craft, not just the anatomy of what's on a page, but the process of bringing that together which insists on some form of quality control rooted in structure.

We are preparing our talent, who are really just friends, to go out there and understand that to do this for a living means understanding the rules. No rush jobs here. Instead we are committed to quality that stems from meeting deadlines, appreciating an editor's insight and accepting criticism because a lot of people are going to see the work speak for itself anyway. So why not put forth your best?
